If your net assets (excluding pensions) are worth less than £350,000 and your case is not unusually complex and does not have an international element the following fee will be the maximum that you will incur.*
Drafting Consent Order/Separation Agreement £500
To include:
Preparation of statement of information for a consent order (mandatory court form).
Preparation of agreement.
Submission to you and to your spouse/spouse's solicitor for signature.
In the case of consent order only - submission to court (court fee currently £45 also payable on top)
The above fees are a guide only. They will only apply to your case once confirmed in writing to you.
Only routine meetings/ telephone calls are included in the estimate. Telephone advice calls and additional/lengthy face to face advice meetings may be charged separately.
Barristers fees are not included. Barristers are usually only employed to deal with hearings but sometimes also offer second opinions in complex cases. Quotes will be provided where necessary.
