Free initial consultations last half an hour.

You may choose to book a full hour initial consultation which will cost £100.

Alternatively you may extend your intial consultation from the half hour free of charge to a full hour. This will also cost £100.
 
We will be honest with you at our meeting. If we can't help you we will tell you. If appropriate, we will refer you to mediation, or Relate or wherever seems right for you.

Some people are not actually ready to separate or divorce. They just want to know "what if?".

Other people are more than capable of dealing with the majority of the divorce process themselves. They can download divorce petitions and other documentation from the court website and fill them in free of charge. Then they may find they get a bit stuck or just want to check they've done it properly before they spend the court fee.

We are happy to see people and give them initial information and advice, but we do not complete forms for you free of charge.

We offer an "on demand" consultation facility after the initial consultation, to look over further paperwork at a later stage and give an honest clear opinion. A typical meeting will cost £100 for the first half hour and £50 for every fifteen minutes (or part thereof) after that.

In the majority of cases we will act for a client from start to finish, this does not necessarily have to be the case if your budget won't stretch that far.

Sometimes all you may want is a second opinion or advice during the mediation process.

One off consutations are an economical way of taking professional legal advice and of course are all fully insured by our insurer Travelers Professional Risks and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

We can follow up any consultation with written confirmation of our advice for a small additional fee which we will agree with you if you request this service.
