Divorce Factsheets
Some people cannot agree how their assets are to be divided after divorce and in a minority of cases "ancillary relief proceedings" are issued. More details on what this means can be found here.
Below are the maximum fees that we charge for each stage of the porceedings, provided that your net assets (excluding pensions) are worth less than £350,000 and your case is not unusually complex and does not have an international element.*
Settlement may be reached at any time and the proceedings will then cease.

*Please note the following important information.
We operate a capped fee charging system. You will be given a capped fee based on your individual case and we will not charge more than we say for the work covered in the fee. If the value of the work that we do is actually less than the capped fee estimate based on our hourly rates you will pay the LOWER fee.
The above fees are a guide only based on our hourly charging rates. They will only apply to your case once confirmed in writing to you.
Only routine meetings/ telephone calls are included. Telephone advice calls and additional/lengthy face to face advice meetings may be charged separately.
Barristers fees are not included. Barristers are usually only employed to deal with hearings but sometimes also offer second opinions in complex cases. Quotes will be provided where necessary.
All fee caps are for our fees only. They do not include property valuation fees or any other disbursement such as court fees.
